- Surprise new baseball game announcement this week: Little League World Series Baseball 2022 is coming to, well, everything this August. The official website for the game is here. The game is launching at $49.99 on all platforms, so it’s not a full-price title.
The game is developed by IguanaBee and published by GameMill Entertainment, so it seems to be totally unrelated to the Activision-published, Now Production-developed Little League games that came out on Wii, DS, PS3, and Xbox 360. - I continue to hoover up cheap baseball video games. I stopped in at Player’s Choice in Myrtle Beach and grabbed the following games: MLB Slugfest 2006, The Bigs, MLB 99, MLB 2004, MLB 2006, Major League Baseball 2K6, Major League Baseball 2K9, Major League Baseball 2K10, Triple Play 99, Triple Play 2002, ESPN Baseball, MLB 07 The Show, and MLB 08 The Show. Videos coming on all of them… Eventually.
- On YouTube this week: MLB Slugfest 2006, R.B.I. Baseball 17, Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu ’94, and Super World Stadium, the first in a series of arcade versions of Famista.
