- I ended up with nothing but a bunch of new Super Famicom baseball video games this week: Super Famista 1-5, Ultra Baseball Jitsumeiban (real name edition), and Super Professional Baseball. All three series had at least some version of their games come out States-side, though often in very different forms from the originals: Super Famista came out in North America as Super Batter Up; Ultra Baseball was Super Baseball Simulator 1.000 in the U.S.; and Super Professional Baseball is the same series as Super Bases Loaded.
The boxes are all fantastic, and Super Famista in particular comes with great art throughout the manuals and even some stickers in each box. Can’t wait to get things scanned and shown off in more detail eventually. - On the YouTube this week, I recorded R.B.I. Baseball 20, which means I’ve now recorded a full game of every game in the R.B.I. remake series published by MLB Advanced Media. And the only game in the full R.B.I. series I’m missing is R.B.I. Baseball 4 for Sega Genesis.
