Rosters for the twelve NPB teams reflect a mixture of 1991 and 1992 rosters. Some 1991-1992 off-season transactions are reflected in-game while others are not. | |||
Two special teams are available in the team select screen normally: | |||
* Namco Stars - Characters from Namco games | |||
* Americans - Players named after American cities, with stat lines taken from Major League Baseball players of the time | |||
Twelve more special teams are accessed by pressing L or R on the team select screen and selecting one of the NPB teams. These teams use stat lines representing legendary players from that NPB team, but the player names are changed to match the team's theme. | |||
