Yakyuu-Kyou ("Baseball Fanatic") is a Hudson-developed action baseball games released for a variety of Japanese computers.

Gameplay Video

Description

Two teams are included by default: Pacific League All-Stars and Central League All-Stars. There is an edit mode to allow changing the player and team names.

The gameplay modes are limited to single games only, with single-player, two-player, or CPU vs. CPU options.

How to play today

The Sony SMC-77 version of the game has been archived by Gaming Alexandria.

  1. Download the "Takeda's Emulator" version of Win-SMC here.
  2. Unzip the emulator and launch smc777.exe.
  3. Drag and drop the Yakyuu-Kyou .d88 ROM file onto the emulator window, or use FD1 > Insert to select the .d88 file.

The game will boot. Use arrow keys and spacebar to play.
