Description

Unrelated to the popular same-titled 2008-2010 games developed by Now Production, Little League 2022 is licensed to feature the official competition held at Howard J. Lamade Stadium each year.

Unlike the real competition or the earlier games, the country (Japan) and region-specific team names (Southeast U.S.) have been replaced by a set of fictional teams that combine players of all nationalities.

Each team is assigned a certain set of power-ups that can be triggered after filling up an energy bar through good plays. Close plays and home run robberies are controlled through quick-time events.
