Bomberman Hardball is a party game with a traditional Bomberman battle mode plus several sports-related modes of play, including baseball. The game was released for PlayStation 2 in Japan (in Japanese) and in Europe (in English) only.
The baseball mode allows play either in exhibition matches or in a 30-game pennant race mode. The game's "Life" mode allows watching CPU vs. CPU matches on the TV object in your room. Playing games earns a currency that can be used to unlock new customization options for your own custom Bomberman character.
