Some changes are coming to the online baseball video game content associated with 30-30.club this year. Let’s talk about it, briefly!
Video essays
The main 30-30 YouTube will be pivoting away from its longplay-ish format into edited video essays in the coming year. A new sub-channel will continue to put up commentary-free gameplay footage of baseball games.
The first video essay will be on the 10 Worst Baseball Video Games Ever. Production is underway, and it’s likely to hit the channel late in January.
Blog post changes
For the past few years, the posts on this site have been in a newsletter format, covering multiple stories on a weekly schedule. The regular schedule helped motivate me to write more, but it makes the information inside them harder to discover or link to.
It’s a trade-off, but going forward this site will switch to new posts covering one topic at a time. For now, these aren’t expected to be on a regular schedule, but just whenever news happens or I run into an interesting topic I want to talk about. If you use an RSS Reader, there’s a site feed you can use here. If not, Bluesky is where posts will get announced.
Encyclopedia work
The encyclopedia part of this site has a lot of good information, but still isn’t close to comprehensive. I am interested in opening up invites to other users to help fill out the information there, funded by a Patreon which would be promoted in my YouTube videos. If you are interested, let me know in an email to nate@30-30.club.
