Game: Batting Revolution Platform: Nintendo Wii Release Year: 2009 Here's some gameplay of Batting Revolution by Alpha Unit. This is the Japanese version of a game I've recorded before called The Cages: Pro Style Batting Practice. This game has the advantage of letting you face specific pro NPB pitchers, so I try to hit a home run here against Ishikawa of the Swallows and Masahiro Tanaka of the Eagles. It's a Wii Motion Plus batting game that's pretty demanding on your timing and accuracy. Game: Aquarius Baseball Platform: Nintendo Wii Release Year: 2007 A quick tour of each minigame in Aquarius Baseball, maybe the rarest console baseball video game? This game was not for sale. Only 3,000 copies were given away as part of a lottery, which was a cross-promotion between Daisuke Matsuzaka, Nintendo, and the Coca-Cola Company. Despite a couple of mini-games clearly allowing you to throw multiple pitch types, the game has no manual and no instructions in the game tell you how to throw different pitches. I tried what I could but if you know the answer, let me know! The special game is only unlocked by playing enough to get to the "pro level" in each other minigame. I have not done that here, since it would take a long time and without knowing how to throw certain pitches I'll never be able to level up enough in the pitching minigame. *** You can also check out my website about baseball video games at https://30-30.club.

Game: Doala de Wii Platform: Nintendo Wii Release Year: 2009 This is Doala de Wii, a minigame collection for Nintendo Wii starring the mascot for the Chunichi Dragons, a Japanese pro baseball team in NPB. A couple of the minigames are baseball-related, though most are only related in that they star this mascot.
