Some Recent “New” “Baseball Games”
A couple of “new” “baseball games” have come out this week in Atari 50 and NeoGeo Pocket Color Selection Vol. 2, two retro game collections that include one baseball game each. RealSports Baseball is part of Atari 50 and Baseball Stars Color is featured in the NeoGeo Pocket Color collection.
Baseball Stars Color is a pricey game and a somewhat hard-to-find console, so it’s a welcome way to play a really stylish handheld baseball game. RealSports Baseball is uh, not so expensive or hard to find, but I don’t exactly keep my Atari 2600 plugged in these days, and it looks like Atari 50 has a ton of cool documentary content.
Masataka Yoshida Digital Scouting Report
There’s a new entry in my “Digital Scouting Report” series where I check out the video game attributes of Japanese players who are coming to MLB. This one covers Masataka Yoshida, an outfielder/DH soon to be posted by the Orix Buffaloes for sale to an MLB team.
Additions to the 30-30.club Collection
I purchased the Kairosoft management game Home Run High on Switch and recorded a video of it out today. And found cheap copies of Major League Baseball 2K12 and the frustratingly inconsistently-named sequel, MLB 2K13 on PS3.
